Through a group of training, dialogue and research programs implemented in more than 16 locations in Syria and around the world. We seek to reach a conscious Syrian society capable of making decisions by its own.

About Wathiqoon program
We are a working team that aims to spread democratic awareness in Syrian society, and to promot culture and civic values in the field of public affairs. We believe that democracy is the basis for achieving justice, equality and freedom for all. It is also the only way to achieve citizenship in Syrian society.
We seek to spread theses concept through training and awareness programs in Syria and countries of asylum. At the same time, we organize events and activities aimed at enhancing democratic awareness and enabling Syrian society to participate effectively in managing its public affairs.
In Wathiqoon, We seek to overcome the sectarian, religious and national obstacles that Syrian society has suffered from. We work to strengthen the social contract and dialogue between all members of society regardless of their cultural, social or religious backgrounds.
Wathiqoon's Program Activities

Raising
democratic awareness among all Syrians, both within and outside of Syria, and expanding its reach far and wide.

networking between east, west and south Syria while engaging Syrians from Regime areas and the diaspora.

Focused Dialogue Sessions
We seek to bring Syrians together at one table, discuss political issues, and produce positive results that chart the way for the future of Syrians through internal efforts and expertise.
Capacity Building
We identify the weaknesses of Syrian youth and work to empower them and build their capabilities so that they become able to take their important role and hold responsibility in developping their society.
Dialogue Seminars
Within this program, we organize dialogue sessions to discuss the political and societal issues facing Syrians, and promote citizenship, freedoms, human rights and democratic values.
